BOSTON, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DelCam Capital announced today that its portfolio company, Space Age Electronics ("SAE"), has acquired Gemcom, Inc., a specialty manufacturer of fire suppression switches, graphic annunciators, and engineered signage serving the fire alarm and life safety industries.

 

Founded nearly four decades ago and headquartered in Burr Ridge, Illinois, Gemcom has built a differentiated position supplying critical hardware to OEM fire alarm and suppression system manufacturers.

Gemcom will operate as part of Space Age Electronics, gaining access to SAE's national distribution network, engineering resources, expanded manufacturing capabilities, and relationships with more than 1,000 fire systems integrators across the country.
